Car thefts were reported in Morgan Park and Roseland, including one Feb. 9, 2020, in the 1000 block of West 110th Place.

Police are warning South Side residents of a string of vehicle thefts reported this month in Morgan Park and Roseland.

At least one of the vehicles taken had spare keys inside, and another was left unattended, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The thefts happened:

  • Between Feb. 1 and Feb. 8 in the 11000 block of South Green Street;
  • Feb. 3 in the 1400 block of West 112th Place;
  • Feb. 6 in the 900 Block of West 111th Street;
  • Feb. 9 in the 11100 block of South Eggleston Avenue; and
  • Feb. 9 in the 1000 block of West 110th Place.

A description of any suspects was not immediately available.
