Several apartment burglaries were reported blocks apart since last month in Lake Meadows on the South Side.
In each case, two people entered the apartment through an unlocked door, Chicago police said. In one incident, someone was inside, and a suspect displayed a silver gun and demanded property.
They happened:
- At 5 p.m. March 28 in the 500 block of East 33rd Street;
- Between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. April 8 in the 500 block of East 32nd Street;
- At 8:15 p.m. April 8 in the 500 block of East 32nd Street; and
- Between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. April 9 in the 400 block of East 32nd Street.
The suspects are described as two men between 20 and 25 years old, police said.
