Teen boy shot in Roseland

The 17-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 200 block of West 115th Street when he heard shots and felt a pain.

A 17-year-old boy was shot Thursday in Roseland on the Far South Side.

About 2:30 a.m., he was standing on the sidewalk in the 200 block of West 115th Street when he heard shots and felt a pain, Chicago police said.

He was struck in the left leg and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
