Teen shot in West Town

He was walking on the sidewalk when someone fired shots, police said.

Four people were shot, two of them fatally at a Far South Side gathering early Saturday.

A 17-year-old boy was wounded when he was shot Tuesday in West Town.

He was walking on the sidewalk about 9:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of West Erie Street when someone in a black car fired shots, Chicago police said. The boy was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the foot.

No one is in custody as detectives investigate.
