A 16-year-old boy was shot in the legs late Friday on the Near West Side.

Two gunmen opened fire on the teen a few minutes before midnight in the 2400 block of West Jackson, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

No one was in custody for the shooting early Saturday.
