That was embarrassing

Whenever Aramis Ramirez starts strutting around like one of his fighting roosters, I know he’s in for a bad day.

During the regular season, the guy can be as clutch as any player on the Cubs. In the playoffs, not only does he stink, but he stinks with an attitude.

The way he played Billingsley’s grounder was so typical of Bad Aramis. Nonchalant. Cocky. But he’s just part of it.

Why is Fukudome playing? Why can’t Alfonso Soriano live up to his paycheck? Where is Derrek Lee?

That was pathetic last night. I was there. And while I thought the crowd was dead Wednesday while I watched the game on TV, it was pumped – at least in the beginning last night.

Oh well, this thing isn’t going to come back Chicago if the Cubs can’t find a pulse. Not an attitude, but a pulse.

At least Zambrano did his part. Wonder now what would have happened if he started Game 1, although I favored Dempster.
