An 89-year-old man was grazed in a drive-by shooting that also wounded a younger man Friday evening in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

At 6:37 p.m., the elderly man was sitting in front of a business in the 4200 block of West Cermak when a gray van pulled up, and someone inside it fired shots at another person who ran away, according to Chicago Police.

The 89-year-old was grazed in the arm, police said. He was treated at the scene and declined to be taken to a hospital.

The business was also damaged by gunfire, police said.

A 32-year-old man later showed up at Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot. His condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody for the shooting, which was considered gang-related.
