A man was wounded Wednesday evening in a shooting in the Near North Side neighborhood.

The 19-year-old was standing at 6:54 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Hudson when a vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the hip and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
