A man was critically wounded in a shooting Saturday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Officers found the 25-year-old unresponsive and lying on the ground about 5:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Homan, Chicago Police said.

He had suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
