Man shot in Chatham

A man was shot early Wednesday in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 25-year-old was walking shortly after midnight in the 7800 block of South King Drive when someone in a gray car fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to the right hand and chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
