A 32-year-old Maywood man died in a Saturday crash in the western suburb.

Officers were called at 6:50 p.m. for reports of a crash between a car and a motorcycle in the 1000 block of South 17th Avenue in Maywood, according to a statement from Maywood police.

They arrived to find Demitrius D. Talley unresponsive on the pavement, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Talley, who lived in Maywood, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead at 7:20 p.m.

An autopsy Sunday found that Talley died from multiple blunt force traumatic injuries he suffered in the crash, the medical examiner’s office said. His death was ruled an accident.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation Tuesday, but the driver of the car was cooperating with investigators, police said.
