Man shot on Northwest Side

A man was wounded Wednesday evening in a Portage Park neighborhood shooting on the Northwest Side.

The 23-year-old was shot in the leg at 6:38 p.m. in the 6000 block of West Roscoe, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in good condition, police said. A person of interest was being questioned by police.
