CINCINNATI – After waiting through rain for almost 1½ hours Tuesday night, the Cubs and Reds had the finale of their two-game series postponed.

The game was rescheduled as part of a day-night doubleheader May 19 in Cincinnati. Game times are 12:10 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. Central time.

Jon Lester was scheduled to make his second start of the season Tuesday. His start moves to the series opener in Milwaukee on Thursday after Wednesday’s scheduled off day for the team.

The rest of the pitching remains in line behind that, with Kyle Hendricks, Yu Darvish and Jose Quintana making the three other starts against the Brewers.

Cubs manager Joe Maddon said his rotation was not an issue.

“My bigger concern has been the bullpen,” said Maddon, whose relievers were leaned on hard during a four-game series in Miami that included nine extra innings. “We’re just looking for an off day to get the bullpen right.”
