A man was shot and wounded Saturday morning in the Burnside neighborhood on the South Side.

About 4 a.m., the 23-year-old was standing in an alley in the 8700 block of South Langley Avenue when someone shot him, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his leg, police said. His condition had stabilized.
