A suspect is in custody after a bank was robbed Monday morning in the Lincoln Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The robbery happened just after 9 a.m. at the Albany Bank branch at 4400 N. Western Ave., FBI spokesman Garrett Croon said.

The suspect, described as a 5-foot-10 Hispanic man in his late 30s with a medium build, was wearing a nylon stocking over his face and carrying a dark bag, according to the FBI. No weapon was shown.

A suspect was taken into custody after the robbery, according to the FBI.
