The filming of aerial scenes for a remake of the movie “Death Wish” will require street and river traffic closures Saturday evening in the Loop.

Filming with a low-flying helicopter will intermittently close streets crossing or adjacent to the Chicago River between 6 and 9:30 p.m., according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.

LaSalle Street will be closed between Jackson and Washington from 7 to 9:30 p.m., CDOT said. Intersecting streets will be open except for brief closures when the helicopter is flying low. Motorists can use Clark or Dearborn streets while LaSalle is closed.
