A man was shot to death Friday night in an alley in Chicago Lawn. A man was killed and 3 wounded outside a River North nightclub.
Derrick Curtis shot himself in the wrist around noon Monday in the 8200 block of South Christiana Avenue, according to a Chicago police alert.

Yellow Banana operates six Chicago-area Save A Lot stores, and wants to renovate and reopen the shuttered Gresham store. It would retain the Save A Lot name through the same licensing agreement as Yellow Banana’s other stores.
“If you would rather pay for an empty store and an abandoned store for the next five years than invest in our community, you don’t deserve to be here,” Ald. Stephanie Coleman said. “And quite frankly, we don’t want you here.”
